Complex processes,
made visible.
Simutec builds simplified, interactive 3D and 2D simulations — from production lines and workplace safety to equipment handling, science and the night sky.
What I build for you
Interactive simulations in the browser, powerful GPU applications for the desktop and walkable 3D tours in VR.
Browser simulations
Interactive 3D and 2D simulations that run directly in the browser – on a PC, tablet or smartphone, with no installation.
Learn more →GPU simulations
Standalone desktop simulations that use the full power of the graphics card – detailed, fast and also offline.
Learn more →VR & 3D scans
Walkable 3D tours of houses and apartments – in the browser or in VR with Meta Quest 3, based on Matterport or LiDAR scans.

Each simulation reduces a real situation to its essentials — clear and interactive, in the browser or as a GPU simulation for Windows.

6 demosSafety & Accident Prevention
Hazard zones, near-misses and safe behaviour.
3 demosRoad Traffic
Right of way, junctions and traffic rules made clear.
0 demosEquipment & Training
How machines and tools are used correctly.
4 demosScience
Physics, chemistry and astronomy made visible.
Featured demos
Strawberry cake line (GPU simulation)
The complete strawberry cake production line as a standalone Windows app: fly to every station, about 100 parts on the belt computed on the graphics card.
Human on the stairs (motion capture)
A realistic 3D human walks up and down a properly dimensioned staircase – with real motion-capture data, foot IK on every step, handrail use and a first “trip” fall simulation.
Junction 3D: who goes first? (learning card)
3D learning card in the style of Swiss driving-theory cards: right before left, “give way”, turning left with oncoming traffic and a zebra crossing – step by step with Swiss signs and arrows.
Motorway traffic jam: phantom jam, roadworks, emergency corridor
A Swiss motorway from above with many cars and trucks: how a phantom jam forms, stop-and-go, zip merging at roadworks and the emergency corridor – with a space-time diagram.
Tram and right-before-left
Isometric junction in St. Gallen: zebra crossing, tram, bike and the right-before-left rule – who goes when? Explained in five calm steps.
Diels–Alder reaction
Cyclopentadiene and maleic anhydride react to the endo adduct: approach, transition state with electron arrows and bond formation in a 3D ball-and-stick model.
Stars within 10 light years
Rotatable 3D star map of the solar neighbourhood in galaxy-map style: real positions, galactic plane, stalks and an info card for every star.
Praline packaging line
Five workers in hygiene clothing place pralines, reject defective ones, fill boxes, put on lids and stack the boxes into a crate.
Cake production line
Five workers in hygiene clothing decorate cakes on a conveyor: place the base, glaze, pipe dots, add a strawberry and pack into the crate.
Cutting Machine: Light Curtain, Not Bypass
A conveyor feeds strip material through a guillotine that keeps cutting it into pieces. A hand reaches for the blade: with the light curtain active the machine makes an emergency stop, with the guard bypassed a danger warning follows.
Laser Safety: Housing and Safety Glasses
A laser engraving cell shown twice: done right with a closed protective housing, interlock and laser safety glasses, then done wrong with the door open and a look into the reflected beam.
Globe Arcs: Ballistic Trajectories
A slowly rotating 3D Earth with glowing great-circle arcs: trajectories launch in staggered waves, travel with a fading trail and end in an impact pulse.
Stairs: Hold the Handrail
A worker walks down a workplace staircase twice: slowly with a hand on the rail, then rushing with a box. The second time, a slip turns into a physics ragdoll fall.
Euro Pallet Load Collapse
Real rigid-body physics: an unsecured carton stack on an EPAL Euro pallet collapses after a forklift hit, hard braking or a one-sided lift. Then try the same with stretch wrap.
Solar system
All eight planets with procedural surfaces, Saturn's rings, moons and the asteroid belt – time-lapse from today, click a planet to fly there.
Forklift & Pedestrian Zone
Top-down view of a warehouse aisle: a forklift route crossing a marked pedestrian walkway.
Conveyor Belt Line
Products travel along a conveyor through three stations: loading, processing and quality check.
